It smells like rain and pavement
the way only three AM can.
Shadows splash against the walls,
shaped like a memory of the dream catcher
hanging in your window
and I can hear the faint sounds of the clock,
out of tune with your heartbeats.
The blinds hang like a crooked smile,
which just makes me think of you,
and how happy I am
to be in between days,
waiting for you to wake up.

the truth, as staunch and without ornament
as I can make it,
is that I did not want your love,
your voice rattling like the hoary whispers
of stars;
your dreams (rustling like cattails

is more akin to the wick of a lamp,
charred and drowning in oil,
I may vaguely nod my head.

white like never and nothing and
not innocence because that's dark like the backs of my eyelids when I'm trying not to box up your
simple silence and play it like a fuzzy radio signal to put me to sleep.

I learn anew that if we could just lose gravity like astronauts

Idle Musings of a Relaxed Mind
I've been here for over two years now, active really only for 2, and I'm surprised at some of the things I've learned. I'd like to share some of them with you.
I've learned that little llamas in Peru die whenever the Drama Llama opens his mouth, it sucks their life force through the internet to the USA, where it converts that life force into page views.
I've learned that page views do NOT matter. Neither does popularity, nor what people think of you.
I've learned that actions speak so much louder than words.
I've learned that sometimes actions ARE words, and so they must be used very, very carefully, lest what you intended is not actually
